In addition to my teaching, I’ve had a number of significant and influential administrative and service-based experiences. Many of these experiences–working on a variety of committees, with new TAs on their teaching, or in other leadership roles–have centered on curriculum development. I have learned how to collaborate across department constituents to develop new courses, to revise programmatic learning objectives, to develop assessment plans, and to pilot new curricula. Additionally, through these administrative experiences, I have developed a passion for working with and supporting teachers, tutors, and writers across the curriculum–work that I look forward to continuing.
